Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Pray mobile app, website, widgets, and related services. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Devotional and Informational Use Only

The Service is provided for devotional, educational, informational, and personal faith support purposes. It does not provide professional pastoral counseling, medical, mental health, emergency, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

If you are in immediate danger, may harm yourself or someone else, or need urgent help, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis resource in your location.

AI-Assisted Content

The Service may use AI-assisted features to generate Bible explanations, prayer suggestions, devotional reflections, study plans, discussion responses, and other content.

AI-assisted content may be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, inappropriate, or not suited to your theological tradition or personal situation. You are responsible for evaluating content before relying on it, sharing it, or applying it.

Scripture and Religious Content

Pray may provide Bible passages, devotional reflections, prayers, theological explanations, and faith-based guidance. Interpretations can vary across Christian traditions and denominations, and Bible translations may have separate copyright or licensing terms.

User Content

User Content means content you submit, create, save, post, share, or transmit through the Service, including prayers, prayer requests, chat prompts, messages, study topics, notes, community posts, replies, reports, and profile or display information.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant Pray a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, adapt, moderate, and use your User Content as needed to provide, operate, secure, improve, and support the Service.

Community Rules

Community prayer and discussion features are intended to be respectful, safe, and faith-centered. We may remove, hide, restrict, report, or preserve content, and may suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By posting, sharing, or otherwise contributing User Content to any community feature, you agree to this end-user license agreement and confirm that there is no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate content or behavior. Content that violates these rules, and users who engage in abusive behavior, are not permitted on the Service.

We provide tools for every user to: filter and screen content before it is posted, flag or report objectionable content, block abusive users, and remove their own posts at any time. We act on reports of objectionable content by removing the offending content and ejecting the offending user within 24 hours of becoming aware of a valid report. You can also report inappropriate activity or contact us at any time using the in-app report and contact options or by emailing vunguyen.dev.0306@gmail.com.

• Do not harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or target another person.
• Do not promote self-harm, violence, hatred, terrorism, sexual exploitation, or illegal activity.
• Do not post sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or predatory conduct.
• Do not share another person's private information without permission.
• Do not impersonate someone else or misrepresent affiliation.
• Do not post spam, deceptive, fraudulent, malicious, or manipulative content.
• Do not request money, payment, gifts, or financial support from other users without written permission.
• Do not interfere with moderation, reporting, blocking, or safety systems.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at https://pray.vunguyen.site/privacy. Prayer and faith content can be deeply personal. Do not submit information you are not comfortable processing through the Service.

Permissions and Notifications

The Service may request device permissions such as microphone, speech recognition, and notifications. You control permissions through device settings. Some features may not work if permissions are denied.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

Pray may offer free features and paid premium subscriptions. Subscription prices, trial length, renewal cadence, and included features are shown before purchase in the app or through the applicable app store.

Unless canceled before renewal, subscriptions automatically renew according to the terms shown by Apple App Store or Google Play at purchase. Payment is charged through your app store account. You can manage, cancel, or restore subscriptions through the applicable app store account settings.

We do not control app store billing, refund decisions, payment processing, or cancellation interfaces. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to Features

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also change free limits, premium entitlements, trial availability, pricing, or subscription products for future purchases, subject to applicable law and app store rules.

Acceptable Use

• Do not access or use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or misuse the Service or its content except where allowed by law.
• Do not interfere with security, authentication, payment, entitlement, moderation, or rate-limit systems.
• Do not use the Service to develop competing AI datasets, models, or services without written permission.
• Do not upload malware, harmful code, or content that disrupts the Service.
• Do not attempt to access another user's account, data, or content without permission.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, branding, interfaces, graphics, curated devotional content, and other materials, is owned by Pray or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial devotional use.

Third-Party Services

The Service may use or link to third-party services, including app stores, authentication providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, AI providers, speech recognition systems, Bible content sources, and external websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pray and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or personal or spiritual decisions made based on the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app under Settings, by selecting Delete account. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or liability, abused the Service, infringed rights, or acted in a way that may harm users, the public, us, or the Service. Termination does not automatically cancel app store subscriptions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Apple and Google Terms

If you downloaded the Service from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the Service must also comply with applicable Apple or Google terms and policies. Apple and Google are not responsible for providing support for the Service unless required by applicable platform terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
